Atlanta time trials




















Sunday started with cool temps for my morning session. After my first 20minute session I returned to my paddock to learn I had set a I was stoked, but also a little weary. I had been fighting painful back spasms before heading out on track, and they persisted while I was on track and after taking 2 ibuprofen after my session.

Thank goodness for CBD! My back began to feel better and I was able to relax and think about my next session on track. During my 2nd session I was able to drop my time to The video is that lapping session! These last two fastest lap times were added together and secured a 3rd place in the Tuner 3 category. It was a great feeling being able to take my kiddos with me up to the podium for the first time! They even brought some awesome swag you'll be seeing me wearing! It was so fun to see them waving and cheering me on while I was racing on track.

When fellow driver Nate Tiuseco had an engine fire that sidelined his MR2 from action on the first day of competition, Li stepped up and offered up a seat in his Tuner 4 prepared Mazda MX This is not the first time he has not only allowed, but encouraged other hard luck drivers to get into his car to get some runs in. He has been a constant face, fan and friend to anyone and everyone that has been a part of the Time Trials program, and for that, he was more than deserving of this honor.

Those honors went to Dustin Stevenson, for all of his help with the event as well as his passion for the Time Trial program. Stevenson has been an incredible supporter of the SCCA Time Trials and worked tirelessly to help the national staff with any hurdle or question that came up involving holding the last event at Road Atlanta.

He is also an outspoken advocate for the program, and can often be found online, sharing his experiences and helping new folks with any questions they might have. View All Results.
