Depending on the structural build quality of your wall you may need to look into that prior to mounting this. I live in an apartment where all the walls are joke, made of gypsum or some cake soft material. I'm not worried about the product, it's sold, it adhered to some heavy duty knives see pic just fine - the magnet is ultra responsive - I'll write a follow up review after 6mos or so but yeah I'm happy with this.

I'm more worried about how cheaply made my walls are and hope it'll support it. Why not 5 star? Lacking wow factor - like I said it's solid and I'd buy it again and recommend it.

My wife bought me this for Christmas and it is my favorite gift. It was easy to install with 2 screws to mount it. I would like it a little thicker because the handle on my Chinese cleaver is ro I would like it a little thicker because the handle on my Chinese cleaver is round not oval and it does touch the wall when it is held by the knife holder. But, the tolerance for the screw holes, even with the template, is extremely tight. I had diffi I had difficulty with fitting the screw heads into the bar itself. It holds all my heavy cutlery extremely well with out any slippage of the utensils. I recommend that you use shorter screws because the ones supplied are extremely long and really overkill for the attachment.
